The mantra of the nuclear power industry is million dollar profits to the private sector, billion dollar cleanups to the public sector.

It's Obama's fault for blocking drilling in the Gulf and the Keystone Pipeline. Obama is responsible for this nuclear disaster. But we were kind of expecting one on his watch just like his soulmate Jimma Carter. Boobs!

Those of you that have commented are ignorant of Hanford. This is an old site, largely concerned with production of weapons, beginning in WWII. Problems there are not the responsibility of Unions, Harry Reid, the private sector or Obama. It is an example of learning about nuclear technology; with both failure and success, over many years.

Union workers like to build and are very good at what they do. Government jobs are laced with red tape and procedures which nearly prohibit workers from doing any thing on these jobs. Steps have to be followed and paper work must be in order and the parts must actually be there for them to do their work. This is all to make sure a step is not missed in order to ensure the safety of future generations and the environment. Some thing that was not done back in the early 40's
