Conducting business with the customers of your choice is not discrimination, yet the homosexuals want to make it appear so.
Start your own scouting organization. Start your own flower shops. See how long they survive.
So you're all for white-only and black-only businesses.

LOL!! So if a merchant put a sign in his front window that said, "Open for Business--No Jews, coloreds, Irish, or Catholics served.", that merchant wouldn't be discriminating, just "conducting business with the customers of (his) choice"???
Too funny!!
Might not make the best business sense, but as a private business, he should have the right to do so. Well, at least up to the point where he asks the government for a huge bailout.

Yep, and there's nothing you can do about it!

Hopefully this bigot is fined $30k like the Vermont B&B owners were!

Yes do that, AND enforce the anti-discrimination laws she clearly violated.
Would ANYONE suggest the owner not be charged if they refused service to blacks or jews because of their deeply held religious beliefs?
Of course not.
The law needs to be enforced, otherwise it might as well be repealed.
Ever hear the phrase aphorism, "The blood of the martyrs are the seeds of the church" ?

Actually, Washington is 50% liberal and conservative, estimation based on the the fact that most of the population here are entrepreneurs. You see, just because someone agrees with treating people right, doesn't make them a liberal, it just makes us correct, even if we are conservative, like me. Conservatives don't have to have god delusions like you do. Actually, you are more liberal, not conservative at all, because you want laws banning more things than most liberals do.

Don't care. She admits to violating the law. If she's not prosecuted, then the law is meaningless.

No this is what happens when bigots like you, force their CHOSEN false sense of morality and religion on others. Then we have to make laws for them to stop! Like I said before, next time you think you have something ignorantly pertinent to say..DON'T..POS

Ive known arlene for years and ive spent alot of money at her shop and i never knew she was homophobic?i find it strange she would discriminate against the gay community when gays have worked for her and she has made money off of them for years.i find it very unchristian-like to discriminate against gay people and im heterosexual with kids and grandchildren.i wont spend another dime at arlene's.its wrong to judge people in the name of christianity.dont give her another dime!

Arlene did flower's for my friend's wedding and they started wilting right away.the flowers were old and dying.her prices were extremely high. My friend was just devastated.so the gay couple should be glad she hates gay people and shop somewhere else!

I believe the three posts above are fake even if supportive. Notice the poster has used lower case for hi/her identity in all three cases and seems not to realize that a period ending a sentence is normally followed by two spaces in all three. Also, if the person is in Kentucky, why would they be shopping for flowers in Washington state?

I was considering arlene's for my upcoming wedding until i heard about her flagrant hate towards gay people.she wont be getting my business and my parents agree it is tacky and uneducated of her to hate gay people just because she thinks they shouldnt get married.

I wont be spending money at arlene's to protest her ignorance!and by the way im a straight married woman
Ive been married twice and if the gays want to get married who cares? Arlene's florist sucks anyway i heard they use old flowers that are on their last leg anyway.
