buentgen suspension(a rhyme)

so much for the mayor (healing the community) saying that we must move forward. i was hoping he would learn from the recall, but instead he has fired up another flashpoint. the leopard doesn't change his spots. maybe the city manger has a buddy that might apply. also, there is not an objective newspaper in david city. a shame.

How many copies of our paper have you read in the last 6 mounths. This community has healed. I have posted befor buentgen should have been fired long ago. I know why, Do you. Many others know why.

He has done wrong by the taxpayers and must recieve his notice.

POSTING ANYTHING IN THE AUDITORIUM THAT BELONGS TO THE PEOPLE IS NOT A CRIME. VOTING HAS TAKEN PLACE IN ALMOST EVERY BUILDING IN DAVID CITY. I HAVE SEEN POSTERS EVERYWHERE. WHEN DID DAVID CITY GET SO PERFECT???? SEEMS LIKE A PERSONAL THING NOT A PERSONEL PROBLEM. MAYBE WE SHOULD PAY THE CITY ADMISTRATOR MORE. AND ANOTHER THING NO EVERYONE IN DAVID CITY WANTS BUNTGEN OUT. ONLY A FEW PEOPLE WHO PROBABLY HAVE A MOTIVE.

Personel issues are suppose to remain confidential, privacy laws and such, so the city can't comment on fully on the factual reasons behind the dismissal even if they wanted to. If Bill was dismissed without proper cause the courts would have to determine that. If he has a case then file it, if he doesn't then I am sure there are facts that he is not sharing that warrant the dismissal.

I'm with you scout 49. The suspension of Buntgen is only another vendetta on Skip's list. Bill worked on the recall effort, therefore he is the enemy. There will be others, I'm guessing. No one except Skips little support group wants Buntgen gone. Please don't lump all the rest us in that category.

I agree if it is a personnel matter, it is private-which leads me to my question. AAA, if you're not Skip, or any one of his lap dogs (Johnson, Hein, Smith, Yindrick or Rogers)as you say, then how do you know what it is about? Ooops, messed up-didn't you. Idiot! We've known all along.

The posting of a poster is only an excuse and is not a fireable offense. It's personal, nothing more. Johnson, I hope you're career is worth taking the fall for Skippy-cuz its coming.

hundreds of people have been asked about there take a the care of the park. every thing is a plus. ask about the attitude of the mayor and administrator and it is a minus. do not count everyone in your statement that everyone wants this or that. only the (group)that is paying for the lawyers and some are even changing their minds . i think the banner needs to rewrite some of there statments . someone should let the owner of the banner about untrue things being printed. like everyone wants the administrator to take our money for nothing.

please notice that the suspension took place at a time too late for the paper to print before the council meeting. why was that??? no council man admits to knowing anything about the suspension. that is also strange. what a rip off to to the people of david city. guess maybe the group knew. remember the auditorium belongs to the people not to the mayor or the adminstrator.

Racer, you're right on one thing, our Mayor did not learn anything from the recall effort, as there was absolutely nothing to be learned. Last time I looked, he's still Mayor and Gaston is nowhere to be found.The Mayor must do what is right for the majority of the citizens of David City, not what a very small group of crackpots on a message board banter about. Personnel issues are not for public discussion, anyone wanting a statement from the City relative to a personnel action will not get a statement.

Take a look at the football field, take a look at the mess of weeds in the City Park, talk to the people who were denied air conditioning at wedding receptions at the auditorium, take a look at the handrail by the long steps at the auditorium, ask how much fertilizer the park got, ask whether the park lakes were tested as required, all of these things are the failure of Buntgen, the Mayor had nothing to do with any of them......Buntgen just blames the Mayor.....Buntgen let all of these things fail so he could blame the Mayor behind his back. Anything to get back his overtime pay, that's what this is all about!
