why would they want to outsource those jobs?
They would have money on labor costs. Let them strike Kansas aircraft workers will be on their way down to replace them.

They should feel lucky to even have a job. Aircraft workers are layed off by the thousands in kansas. Cessna alone has almost 8000 aircraft workers that would love to have a job and be off the layoff list.

All Cessna employees that have been laid off should go to Bell and apply for all these positions. If they do not want to work and have insurance let the people who want a job go to work. Will everyone out there who wants an 18% garanteed raise in three yrs. and a $4,500 bonus consider working for Bell for this amount?

Why did the UAW leadership recommend they rank and file take this offer then vote against their leaders? Seems odd to me.

All you union boys just keep being greedy and getting every dime you can because it will soon come to an end. The companys will move their plants and start building with non union. Here you are wanting more and Textron is suffering financial losses in almost every company they own. You guys and girls are going to price yourselves right out of a job.

Sure. Like greedy crooked CEO and Wall street. They alone have done more to ruin american industry than any union.

Clintonian is correct, Wall Street with the LBO and demands for dividends are the problem here. Not the joe 6 pack trying to earn a decent living.

Yup. Like a CEO that gets tens of millions for life even though he p_hucked up a company or led it to bankruptcy or liquidation. I think Chucky Conoway is still getting his after he ran Kmart into the ground. Oh Kmart was and is non union so your antilabor argument doesn't work.
Look at the slugs who led AIG and Bof A into the gutters. They're doing quite well. AIG is defending lucrative bonuses to "attract" and "retain" the so-called talent to run the company.........right into the ground.
So it is plainly obvious that failure at the top is rewarded in this country. What is wrong with joe worker getting a bit more in his pocket?

The fools at Bell that are members of this collective better be careful, ROBINSON is kicking Bell's azz right now with their R22 and R44 helicopters. Nothing would make me happier than to see the idiots lose their jobs, just like the MORONS with PATCO did in the 80's. Only the terminally STUPID/UNQUALIFIED embrace collectives. PRECIOUS

Yo, Union Steward, you can change the user name, not the ip. No union ever ran a company. For every company with your so called p_huked up CEO, there are thousands that are not. Unions have out lived their usefulness. In this time of cutbacks, people are stupid for striking. Those jobs will be filled faster than you can change user names again.

Daily Horoscope for December 27

Sagittarius

After all the excitement of the past few days you're longing for the chance to put your feet up and take life easy for a while. Ideally, you should bury your nose in a good book and be left alone until you resurface for a food transfusion. But you'll also enjoy chatting to someone you know very well and for whom you don't have to make a big effort, such as a close relative.
