I'm not sure if your story is accurate. A witness claims that the man was hand-cuffed at one point. The officer took off the hand-cuffs to do a sobriety test. The witness claimed that something occurred that caused the officer to stand back and pull out his gun. Then there was a shot. The witness did not mention anything about a fight or any other force was used to detain the individual. I would recommend that you further investigate this story for more accuracy in the details.

OK Jerry was pulled over for intoxication. He was from Redmond, age 43; and he had a history of DUI's. The officer pulled him over and while trying to arrest him, Jerry reached for the police officers taser gun, and the officer pulled his gun and shot. Jerry was taken to Sevier Valley medical where he died. The officer is on administrative leave while the investigation is under way. They do not believe the shoot was justified.
