Great letter Jen. Women have to remember their rights are put in jeopardy by a conservative administration. Protect your rights & vote for Obama.

Two more female mental giants who can't think past their own sex lives to choose a candidate. All you pro-abortion types howled about the election of GWB, saying that his first act would be to outlaw all abortions and access to reproductive health services. Nevermind that the president doesn't have that power -- just scream the loudest about any GOP person because you're so filled with hate. And yet, seven years down the road, all who need services can still receive them and many at taxpayers expense to boot. Still, you perservere and don't let little things like facts get in your way, not when you have an agenda to support. Do yourselves a favor and get a clue and focus on the things that affect the future of our great country, things like education, energy prices, security, jobs, etc. When those big pieces of the puzzle are in place, minor things like birth control pills are easily attainable.

Just to set the record straight regarding my VOP "Leasing sewer system risks large costs" -- the second to last line was omitted, taking the intended bite out of the letter. The end was written:

"Educating the public that loss of jobs, loss of control, loss of accountability, decrease in service, decrease in quality and increase in rates have been experienced by other communities that have privatized public utilities in in the interest of the common good.

Now, what scheme will hurt hardworking parents who are struggling to make a better life for their children?

Isn't that the mayoral pot calling the citizen kettle black?"

Ms. Rhodes has one things right when she says that there are better ways to fund college scholarships than by Akron to sell its sewer system. And that way is to get the public schools to finally do what they are paid to do -- educate the kids. now wouldn't that be something?

No one from the left ever contended that Bush himself would have the power to "outlaw all abortions an access to reproductive health care services." But do to the fact that the President nominates Supreme Court Justices it's fair to say he has an indirect influence on whether Roe v Wade might possibly be overturned. What's comical is how you right-wing nuts react the same way when any form of gun control is introduced as if all gun rights will be stripped! Keep following the lead of Limbaugh, Hannity, Robertson, Hagee, and Haggard, all "icons" of your "Party." Your "party" has got you right where they want you, with your eye off the ball fretting about these inane social issues while they conduct an illegal war with rampant war profiteering sucking up your tax dollars. Do these companies ring a bell: Halliburton, Blackwater, and KBR to name a few? And why don't you tell us all about McBush's involvement in the Keating scandal and his adultering ways with bimbo Cindy before he was divorced if you want to talk about morality like your "party". Even though both "party's" can revile me, and it boils down to the lesser of two evils, you need to just face the fact that yours is going down in November. So you can resign yourself to that fact and go quietly or you can go out kicking and screaming like a rat from a sinking ship. By the tone of your ignorant comment, however, I'm sure you'll be compelled to the later.
