''It's a cooperative agreement,'' he said.''We share everything with the Village of Richfield anyway. We share our police, fire and rubbish collection. We are basically one community with two governments.''
The above statement by the trustee is interesting- it points out the duplication in government. Sounds like if they really wanted to save money they'd merge the two forms of government & make one complete community.

And this is where people like you should educate yourself before you post. The voters have rejected merging a few times over the years.
