what race card? That's bull. Use it when there isn't a race issue and it invalidates it when it is an issue.

Question - How long will it take 12 jurors to convict this jack_ss? His story is more than "pretty bad" and this is the best story his lawyers could come up with for him? I sure hope that I don't need them ever to help me out of a jam. I think that I would choose to defend myself. And to top it off, we had to pay for their so called work. Law firm of "Dumb and Dumber". Nice job defense! Can't wait to see you two file the appeal so you can milk more from the tax payers of Stark Co..

a couple attorney commentators have stated that they could see an appeal regardless of the jury verdict. Cutts' attorneys know that he will be convicted of some of the charges. Where the race card appeal will be used will be in the jury selection process. There were no African-Americans on the jury panel. The jury was an all white jury. Guess what, the 400-500 persons called for jury duty were interviewed by both sides and sides had the opportunity to reject jurors for any reason!

Mr. & Mrs. Cutts will just have to visit their son in Mansfield in the near future....

Let's hope the jury sees through the dramatic, contrived presentation, including crying without tears, of Bobby Cutts. It's clear he strangled her. The backwards elbow shot is beyond belief. Intent is another thing; harder to prove, essential for a murder conviction. I hope the jury deliberates in good faith. And I hope Cutts gets everything he deserves for taking the life of another, the mother of his children.

If the prosecution wasn't playing hard ball and hoping to gain national news attention from this trial - it could have been over with a plea deal months ago. For political reasons they were hoping to get there 15 mins. of fame (Nancy Grace, Larry King)

I think the prosecution's case sucks - fortunate for them he confessed.

You are so wrong. The prosecutors weren't trying for anything here. Cutts had a "deal" cut through prior attorney- no death penalty if he led them to body and his "story" held up (remember he said she had a seizure and grabbed at his trou?[pants]- That deal was taken off the table when things weren't as he said= he was lying even back then. His current attorneys CHASED this case, coming down from Cleveland to the jail to see him WHILE HE WAS ALREADY REPRESENTED BY COUNSEL- if you read the court dockets you will see they had to get in effect a restraining order to prevent these and other attorneys from soliciting Bobby to hire them!! The CURRENT attorneys wanted the trial for publicity's sake, NOT the prosecutors. They even told the newspaper they represented Cutts (Mack and/or Watson) when he still had his former attorney. That is unethical!! They had not been retained by Cutts at that point. Further, they told him he needed BLACK attorneys [so THEY COULD PLAY THE RACE CARD on appeal]. Know your facts before dissing the honorable prosecution team in this matter.

Hopefully, Bobbi Cutts, Jr will spend his remaining day locked up, and have his prescription of Tynoasatol revoked.

I just knew that Cutts did it; and he panicked. But he's a police officer; he should have known better! What was he thinking? He had plenty of time to "come to his senses".

Canton is one of the most prejuidice cities I have ever seen. What I mean by this is the blacks hate the whites. Its reverse discrimination in Canton.
And as far as appeals go... well is there ANYONE on death row that doesnt have some kind of appeal in the works?

They're not gonna convict him of aggravated murder because the prosecution did not show that he went there intending to kill her. He'll get life.

I truly hope justice is served here. And I'm tired of seeing that poor girl get a bashing by those who feel she somehow "deserved" what happened. Nobody ever deserves to be murdered. Yes, Jessie made bad choices and that unfortunately led to her tragic death. My thoughts are with her family as they have to deal with having their poor daughter/sister's character laid out for the world to comment on.

Do you not see the racism in your statement? We preach racial equality, and then someone comes along and says something like this. Perhaps the jury should consist of 12 african american police officers accused of killing their girlfriend and unborn baby.
But what do I know?

Thank God the trial is over and the guilty verdit of aggravated murder is only a day or two away for Bobby Cutts for killing the slut. I've had enough of Bobby Cutts, Jessie Davis, Patty Porter, Blak Cutts, etc... to last a life time.
I know that's right.
I'm sick of the whole crew too.
But I will be glad when his parents
win their visitation suit.

what happened to jesse davis was a terrible tragdey, but let's face it jesse fell for bobby and to him she was just a trick. Bobby wanted jesse to go away and according to his wife jesse wanted her out of the picture. y plant you're underwear so that his wife could find them and why contiue to get pregnant for someone else's husband. Bobby lost all respect for jesse the first
night she slept with him;afterall, how many one night stands did she have. jesse should have ran aS fast as she could from Bobby Cutts jr....the reason is that if he could be so disrespectful and uncommitted to his wife than why o why would he be so true and faithful to her. now having said all of that Bobby Cutts had no right to dump her in the woods as if she were a piece of trash even though both of them behaved very trashy. i do believe that he panicked but he must and should be held accountable for his actions. I will say that after hearing all the testimony in this case it changed my perspective. This girl was put out there as the totally innocent victim in all this. Now I see she was not just some poor innocent girl who had this tragedy happen to her. she was a big contributor to the events that led up to all this mess. Not implying she deserved to die but she was not the onnocent victim in all this. She was a girl who manipulated a situation with a married man knowingly. She interferred in someone elses marriage knowing this man had a wife and child at home. How does someone do such a thing without guilt. She is lucky his wife didn't kill her long before he did. any normal moral person would never get between a man and his wife. she should have given him an ultimatum to get his affairs in order before you bring yourself to her. That would be the action of any sane person. Instead she brought all this mess upon herself and brought a child into this world who now loses 2 parents because of jessies unreasonable thinking and selfishness for her sexual gratification. Could this man have been such a great guy knowing he was sleeping with god knows how many women? What a prize she picked to have children with. Now this poor kid will learn about his parents sorted affair and have to live with it for the rest of his life.
