We spend $2,000,000 on the Fall Mansion and get nothing in return for the money and the City lets this budding landmark for El Paso slip through its hands. Bunch of idiots.

I'm really sorry that it is leaving. I always enjoyed looking at it and my wife gets a kick and how well hung the horse is.

If El Paso ends up with no public Jimenez scultures and 3 or 4 (or 5 or 6) John Houser statues, it will be a lasting triumph of El Paso's determination to remain a mediocre city.

So what? It was a loaner and we are broke. We could not and should not have bought it. Some rich folks bought it and the money is going to charity.

It's more like forget the MExicans and worship the white artists in El Paso. The richest guys in El Paso are white and they run all these Mexicans.

I really like those big balls too. I hope they replace it with someone or something equally endowed.

DoubleUTF with the crappy pics, EPT? One of them looks like it was taken on a 1997 cellular phone and the other looks like it was taken of a mirror reflecting the Vaquero statue.

Have you laid off all your photographers or something? I'm sure that if you outsourced all your photography needs to India they could have come up with better images of those two sculptures from satellites orbiting the Earth.

EPTSUX. Sheeez.

No offense to the late Mr. Jimenez but somehow it never looked right. Maybe some local up and coming artist can come up with something that better represents the local modern beat.
