I wanterd to know if anyone had issues with their doctors office. I went to my doctors office a few weeks ago Dr. Jamie Williamson located in Richardson at the new hospital buildings off George Bush and Renner. When I called a receptionsist named Pam answered she was very rude and you could hear her sigh and blow her breath which was not the first time as if I was bothering her. Finally I made an appt and the when I got there I signed in and waited in the waiting room for over 40 minutes. I then got called back by some asian woman whom I could not understand a word she was saying and then when I finally got placed in a room I was in there for almost an hour. While I was waiting I could over hear the doctors and nurses talking about their personal lives while I was sitting there in my room waiting and waiting. I finally was fed up and peeped out the door and asked what was taking so long. I was told I was next. I over heard a girl tell the doctor that I was upset and had been waiting for over an hour, her response was well I am busy and going just as fast as I can even though I could hear her talking out side my door most of the time. Her tone was not pleasant. It really ticked me off! When she came in she applogized but it was not sincere it was more with an attitude. Does any one experience this issue. Doctors just let their patients wait while they talk to their other doctor collegues about their personal lives. When she was done with me she left the room and ordered the nurse to get my lab slip etc, I waited yet again for another 30 minutes while I could hear them again talking about politics and personal lifes again. I am not going back and I think I would have gotten faster better service at Care Now!! Are all doctors offices this way? Is this why people prefer urgent care places??
