what does "charged in a deadly" mean? Good to see NBC % keeping up to their usual journalistic standards.

I was one of max's co-workers, everyone that heard about it was certainly devastated and heart broken. mostly in shock.
it is a sad situation, but he had lived his life to its fullest full of fun and adventures, we will miss his presence at work, he was such a great guy and brought joy to every single one of his friends.
i remember the first day he worked, i just talked to him and just joked around, I WILL NEVER FORGET THAT DAY, he feels like i know him forever.
may peace be with you always and for ever
R.I.P. MAX BRUSTIEN, wish the parents best of luck and support you all the way!
i wrote a poem, it made me feel better, it may help you as well. hope you enjoy it
called JOY by Rachael Lynn Taylor
your second home
a joy to many hearts,
you were a inspiration
a joyous part of everyone.
You had a standing
ovation and various blossoms
surrouding your house and grave.
An attraction to your dimple smile.
Bad news fades
but your spirit lives on,
you stand by us, invisible at least,
your still on earth but
only in the eye of our heaven.
A short life indeed,
but full of fun.
All we can do now is
live in his memory.

I was max's friend.
he was one of those guys in my life that walked in and refused to walk out.
he was actually one of the only guys i knew that said he'd always be that guy no matter what. he was one of my first boyfriends and i heard the news at 3 pm today, i still can't believe this is happening, but i know max, i know he wouldn't of killed or hurt anyone. he was the best guy friend i've ever had in my life. he was so sweet and always brightened my day. if you read this, know that something needs to be done, don't let max down.
he didn't deserve this,
i talked to him on the phone for hours and hours for the past 5 years. if you didn't know him, just know that he would of made you feel at your best.
there is so much more i can say.. but please the parents and everyone knows that something needs to be done. they were just kids goofing around, max was just a funny down to earth sweet guy..
his life shouldn't of ended this soon and like this.

we will never forget,
we will always remember,
max brustein i love you so much and i always will
so will everyone else.. i promise. i wont let them forget you.

He may not get the death penalty, but his life is over. One way or another.

I was a good friend of max.

I was a good friend of Max.
He didn't deserve this at all.
Max knew how to brighten anyones day.
He was there no matter what.
I'm still waiting for my daily phone call.
It hasn't set in yet.
But this should not have happened to him.
I love you & I miss you.

Max seemed like a great person with a bright future, condolences to the family. Another criminal minded mexican with a knife and a careless disregard for human life. Ilost a friend who was killed by a mexican who fleed to Mexico

I was a close friend of Max.
I still cant believe he's gone....ive been at his house all day, went to the candlelit this evening and its SO hard being there with "the group" and not having him there.
now im not going to be able to hug him in the halls at school or go to another game with him to scream our heads off.
but I KNOW that he would be trying to cheer us up right now, so im going to try and be happy cause i know that thats what you would want max.
I LOVE YOU

its a real shame that such a horrific thing could happen in such a quite plance like plano... i saw max every once in awhile in school last year and sometimes out of school.. we were just aquantinces tho. im sure he was a great guy and that our society will share a great loss from his absence. i share my deep condolences with his family, b/c god knows how painful it is for them, and all his friends..

Last June, he said, the family filed a police report saying Mr. Torres left a voice mail threatening to kill Max and his family. Police could not verify that Sunday.
Funny how the police cannot verify the message on the phone recorder. Everyone else can.
Are the police in Plano that lame?
I feel if the skills of the officers saying they cannot verify the phone messages and get the file number on the report from the June investigation then the chief of police in Plano needs to hire better officers.
This needs to be reported and investigated why this young boy got away with life threats against Max.
Thank you
