No really. There is no full disclosure of Ger resume as homemaker for over 8 years as well as avid tennis mom at local country club and garden club volunteer. Someone should should really ask to see the oat stubs that support her experience for this position. she is great PR and a face but the substance is lacking.

Absolutely! She has done her homework and is very knowledgeable about the issues our city faces. She has proven to be an effective leader and collaborator.

Laura will be a geat mayor. When you raise kids in a city, you know what needs to change and what needs to stay the same. Laura is no "stay-at-home" country club mom. She is an active comunity activist who gets things done.

Leadership is the key to getting people to work together and make a decision based on discussion from all sides. I have seen her in action, she understands that listening is the greatest asset a leader has to offer. Unfortunately I have seen too many political figures that are most interested in holding office to boost their egos...she has confidence, not an ego, there is a difference. Don't discount the work of a person that would set her own ambitions aside to raise 3 good kids and provide a good home. Did you even know that Laura does have a career!

You probably have never had a substantive conversation with Laura or anyone who knows her. You complain about her not posting her role as wife and mother and volunteer but do not give credit for her role as an active participant in city affairs including service on boards and commissions plus spearheading community projects all while being the fine wife and mother that she is. As is true of many people who serve in volunteer positions, which council member and mayor are, she has found out how to put hours into several positions in addition to being Executive Director of the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship.

Meh. She just wants to add her "duty" as mayor to her resume.

Laura was kicked out of the Garden Club for not participating. She only came to a meeting when she was the speaker... to talk about herself. She fooled residents of Richardson to back her during the campaign.

I understand she divorced her husband in December 2014.
