Athens Teen Murdered in the Street

This house I bought was known for drug things A murder investigation is underway in Athens, Tennessee where a teenager was shot and killed early Thursday morning. via WTVC Chattanooga

I sit here wondering why a 17 year old that lives about 7 miles from the scene was doing there at 5 in the morning. And I do grieve for the family's loss.
I also wonder how hard the APD will pursue this matter. Hope they catch the shooter. Also this was one of a few times I have seen the APD Chief out in public.

I agree that my son had alot of problems. Mcminn County High school made everyone of his problems. He was harrassed just because the racist princible Grubb didn't like that he was friends with blacks. Zach loved everyone, that was his downfall. Alot of lowlife trash is in Athens.

I can't believe how much "hatred" is generated in one single forum. I clearly don't know the "Webb boy"; nor his family, but regardless...it is always a tragedy when a young person is "murdered"...and their life is senselesly cut short. No one deserves to die at 17. My son is 17...and I can't imagine a day without him. My prayers go out to his family, because regardless of their ethnicity, religion, beliefs, social, financial status, or where they reside....no one should have to endure such a tragedy..My prayers go out to not only the family..but the people who go on here and type such vile blogs spewing with hatred...because eveidently those people are miserable and filled with anger....and hopelesness
