This is crazy!
Is the police going to believe this lady?
Come on! she got drunk and horny, probably the guys were drinking too, they talked to her into having sex and she consented. They know the owner and he allowed them to go upstairs to do their thing. Probably she regretted after she was sober and to cover her "social image" went to the police department. It's a bar people, they sell alcohol, ladies drink and they do these kind of acts...
Rape! come on people...
Everybody knows what's going on in Napoli's, the bar is always busy and people gets wasted there and they do all kind of insane acts and exotic dances. The city just try to ignore this situation and bully other business owners that they don't like. Apparently Napoli's owners are well connected with the city government...
I don't believe this is RAPE at all..

You used to work there?
So you are saying that you saw that before and never reported to the authorities, doesn't sound right...
Maybe they fired you and you are one of those employees that wants to retaliate. People goes there to drink and when they drink they do many things that they probably regret later on...

Last I checked, just drinking doesn't give you the right to take stuff like...uh...SEX! Have you ever worked anywhere but where you work? Oh? You have...maybe that means you were fired. Come on. What kind of logic is that?

We didn't say you have the right DUMB ASS...
Something smell really fishy about this case. We are saying that the police department has to make a very proper and deep investigation.
Why she didn't scream, fight or run?
It was a public place, was there someone around?
XTIGER your comments lack common sense...

"Dumb ass"? I would much rather be referred to as Smart Ass thank you. Common sense? Once again...do some homework. Find out what happens when someone's been given a date rape drug. It won't take you too long to find out that it makes it to where you pretty much can't scream. No-one's saying it happened on the pool table or on top of the bar, only that it started in the bar. It was supposed to have happened upstairs. Hello...Duh!!! It sounds to me like they went somewhere that there WEREN'T any people around. Imagine being drunk to the point of passing out... What were you saying about common sense again?

Thank you.'Smart Ass' has such a better ring to it.

BTW...since we're talking about common sense. Did you know that what you read in the newspaper isn't always exactly what happened, or the full account as to what happened? Amazing but true. In fact, I'd be willing to bet that the police didn't even release all of the details of what happened to the newspaper. I think I saw that on Law & Order.

Same response as the other post, but thank you for playing. I'm curious though. Cops in Corsicana, investigating the internet? No disrespect, but I just don't see it.

Hmmm...it states that the two men are from Forney...Therefore, how did the know about the living quarters upstairs? Did the woman lead them up there? Let's be honest here, speaking as a woman...it is not uncommon to act like little whores after drinking. I think that she was probably a willing participant and then felt remorseful thereafter. I look at it this way. If the women would stop going around acting like little tramps, maybe they would not be treated as such. Now, maybe she was assaulted who knows. I just think that if you don't put yourself into sticky situations, you are less likely to get caught in one!

You have a point there but you need to read the article. They went upstairs and these guys know the owner... When they were upstairs whoever saw them said "they were both walking and they said they were going to talk"...
Read the article!

I've known the person that this happened to since she was a young girl. In NO WAY did she consent to this to happen to her. She was raised by Great Parents and had an even greater family. The community that she lived in loved her and her family very much, they gave so much to their friends and church. She is a very sweet girl that helped people and leads a very beautiful life. Someone commented why she ways there at 1:00 drinking. Have you never been to a place with friends and had a few drinks, food, and good conversation. I have a few times. She didn't go there to get drunk and she sure as Hell didn't go there to get raped. This is a local place where alot of locals go but the two guys weren't even from Corsicana. They were from a place over an hour away. What were they doing there. If you knew the person and some of the things that were done to here you would realize that there is no way she would have wanted this to happen.

everyone has their opinion and they are entitled to it...but when you have only a few facts, or none of them..you should keep your mouth in check. Rape is never appropriate, a simple "no" should be all that it takes to stop the aggressor. Rape is a violent criminal act and not one simply of sex. if 'ex waitress' would come forward and perhaps others who were involved, then perhaps justice could be done. It is a demeaning and demoralizing act. In this day and age where everyone feels entitled to what they want and considering no one else, does it really make you feel good when the only way you can have someone is by dispensing a date rape drug and rendering the victim immobilized and unable to speak or scream. I don't know how far the authorities have taken this case or if justice will ever truly be done, but if places who allow such acts could be closed down then perhaps there would be fewer victims. It should never happen to anyone. How would you feel if it was your mother, sister, daughter, girlfriend, or wife?

Rape is rape.....it doesnt matter if you have had a couple of drinks or not....someone had slipped a date rape drug in her drink...she did not know what was happening...so dont blame her...what was done to her was appalling...men who do things like that should be castrated. From what I understand , this has happened alot at Napolis...even men have been given this drug...They came forward to tell...So for all you people out there who dont know the whole story but like to make idiotic comments, I feel sorry for you..hope this never happens to one of your loved ones...

So, she was there with friends...
What were her friends doing when these guys took her upstairs?
Is the bar that big that you can get lost in the place?

If it happens that often,
why they don't close the bar?
