Ed killed a shop worker with a .22, taking her to his house and hung her by the heals dressed her out in prep for consumption. That was the event that got himg caught as a stranger visited his house for help and discovered the hanging body.<quoted text>
Ed Gein was not a serial killer. There have no serial killers in Minnesota that I could find.
Another case attributed to Ed was a missing person and their vehicle, the same vehicle described as found on Ed's property. They never convicted him of that crime but after the conviction etc it was determined he probably did it.
Of course Ed did dig up the deadburied.
What was the most disturbing aspect of Ed's behavior was that he was known for giving away deer meat. When asked if he ever shot a deer he said NOPE!!
There was and outbreak of illness after that became public.
Of course Ed was famous for lamp shades made of human skin, belts made of belly buttons, walking around in the dark wearing the rib cage etc from a corpse.
I have a book written about Ed and what he did is so freaky IF a woman reads the book they WILL NOT sleep that night and maybe a number of nights.
Ed was a swell guy from Wisconsin. In fact there was an effort to make his house into a musem, the house was burned down after that word got out. A friend worked at the mental institution where Ed was incarcerated, she was not comfortable because Ed would always stare at her.... Thinking it would be the best piece he ever had, maybe.
