It's always more fun when the pins fall!

7 Quick Steps to Help Improve Your Game

1. It All Starts with the Ball:It's important to choose a ball that's not too heavy and not too light. 10% of your body weight is a good rule. Find the ball that is just right for you.
2. Get Ready:Position yourself on or near the middle dot. This will give you room to move while aiming for the third arrow on the lane.
3. Get Set:Hold the ball about waist high, slightly off to the side. This will give your arm clearance to move easily, straight back and forward.
4. Remember to Relax:Your knees should be bent slightly. This is a simple way to release some of the natural tension in your body.
5. Make Your Move:As you take your first step forward, extend your arm. Your arm shouldn't bend until after you release the ball.
6. Swing Away:As you approach the lane, let the ball swing naturally. Straight back and straight forward, all in one fluid motion.
7. Let it Roll!:Take your last step to the lane and roll away. Be sure to follow through. Think of it as shaking hands with the pins. For greatest control, roll the ball, don't throw it.
