Hassled by NYS Troopers for making Video Along Hudson

I was hassled by NYS troopers for making videos of marine traffic, trains, and wildlife, whichever was the most convenient at the time.... all from a public boat launch.
Apparently the new threat (to discontinuance of funding and overtime) is "domestic home-grown terrorism."
I love the area and want to come back. But Im pretty sure Im going to be a cop magnet. I even wonder if paddling under the bridge to the Tivoli Marshes is going to be a problem.
How do you get a incident report?
Can anyone recommend a reasonable civil rights/criminal law attorney around Rhinebeck or Hudson, especially one who has filed complaints against NYS troopers.
