I think that Kason should die and rot in hell for what he did to that child. I hope someone treats him the same way in prison and beats him to a pulp. Coming from a man that has a one year old son, that kind of behavior is unexceptable. I think the justice system in this country sucks, to have a major league baseball player that used steroids go to prison for 5-10 years and let child abusers and molesters get the minimum sentence of 6 monthd to 2 years. I say send those guys over to Iraq and let them die instead of people that actually matter to society.

I think that alot of people should realize that everyone is human and everyone makes mistakes. Yeah this justice system in this country sucks so why are you just complainging about it and putting it up on some comment page? why don't you go do something about it!!!?? I don't think that Kason deserves to be in the same catagory as child molesters or murderers. yes he made a mistake and yes he knows and OF course he is sorry! but have you never made a mistake in your entire life ? DJ2X?? sorry everyone is not as perfect as you in this world!!!!

1 Are you kidding me! This kid beat the hell out of a baby. What kind of monster does that. Sure we all make mistakes but how do you justify hurting a child. |

I agree with DJ2X. This man was given extra chances--he knew it was wrong from the beginning. And seeing as he didn't stop after the first or second time it is obvious he doesn't really care. Of course he seemed humble and appologetic and all of a sudden was again a charming man. THat was his last attempt at not going to jail. I think our system stinks too! Two years is not enough for him nor for her. The mother needs him safely away much longer than that, and he deserves a much greater sentancing. He meant to kill the baby, and the only reason the baby lived is because of angels.

Everyone suffers with some sort of demon. I do belive he deserves to serve time in jail for his crime, but it is up to God to judge him not us.

i grew up with kason and his family. they always acted so high a mighty! i feel really bad and think that we all make some mistakes but this should never happen!!!!! what the hell is wrong with you?

I agree it is up to God to judge but it is also up to us as a society to protect ourselves and our families from dangerous people. 2 years is not enough. Reading religious material is not enough.
He is trying to skip the "remorse" part of repentance so he doesnt have to feel the guilt. Poor Davin, and poor Heather. We should Pray for them and also for Kason, that he may truly feel remorse for more than a couple minutes. C. Hawley |

I grew up with Kason and although he really, really messed up, I KNOW THIS GUY He is a good man NOT evil. Now im not agreeing with what he did at all. it shocks me I hung out with Kason alot. But people make mistakes and if you say you don't you are lying.
