I thought the same thing when I first saw the commercial. I said how dare they immitate r&b using white singers! Then my husband and I turned towards each other and bust out laughing! The commercial was totally unexpected. It is unique and funny, I give it that much. Viewing some other websites on this topic I found some very hateful people. Many were concerned about disrespecting Abe and George and others called the music ugly and ghetto. My thought is we can't be serious about everything, some things are funny. It doesn't take away what the "founding fathers" did for this country and no music genre is for everyone, it's all taste specific. This commercial really does appeal to a wide base of young people, because many are listening to R&B and if many haven't beenpaying attention lately, many of the R&B singers worldwide are non black American.
