Former city worker wins ten year lawsuit for on the job injury. Nice check coming his way. How much did this cost taxpayers?

If the person won he must of been entitled to what he claimed. I don't know the full story but it could of been a life altering situation for him. these cases can strengthen & protect worker's rights for all of us. just my opinion, maybe more details will follow.

Does anyone have more information on this? IMHO, the title & first post seem to imply the ciy worker isn't entitled to what they were awarded. I'd really like to know the whole story.

Everett does not like to follow those silly civil service rules.
This isn't the first lawsuit they (WE!) have lost based on legitimate claims.

I thought the original post was talking about how much the city wasted fighting it not that the person didn't deserve it.
