I agree that it is the tip of the iceberg. I also think that there is too much denial about the crimes being committed in Malden. A homeless man was that confident that he could go into a bank in broad daylight and rob it without fear of the Malden Police. Why?

There have been so many shootings and stabbings which haven't been recognized by the media - Why is the City of Malden trying to keep it hush because - it has become so unsafe I'm afraid to go anywhere by myself.

Most of the stabbings and shootings in Malden MA are GANG RELATED and by the Gang of over 300 members (to say the least) called MAPLEWOOD!!!

There are certain Malden Police that are also affiliated with the Maplewood Gang as well. That is why so much about them is kept hush hush!

Certain police in Malden also give drugs such as a thirty dollar bag of heroin to their selected drug addicted informants!

MAPLEWOOD is a hugh gang in MAlden and Teens all know about them and fear them as well, so nobody will tell what they see a gang member do! The members are not just kids nor teens and the ages range far and wide into at least the late 40's

If you don't like where you live then.. Pack your sh!t and don't let the door hit you on your way out. you want someone to blame for the crime???then blame those storm troopers you ppl call Malden police. There their the ones supplying the drugs.

At 12:15AM this morning, a 21 yr old named corey from Maplewood, was shot in the head and killed outside of the old Avenue C Lounge on Eastern Ave. When the frantic mother arrived at the scene of the shooting, she screamed at the Malden Police that it was their fault and the grieving mother was almost arrested. Didn't the Malden Police say that there were no problems in Malden?

i was there last night and kids were runnin down the street with guns young boys with no fear of showing them either , so id think its pretty safe to say malden is definitely not what it used to be and this is what happens when a gun is so easily obtained. Its really sad

That was the Mayor, City Council and the Police Chief that retired saying that. Maybe Newsweek can do another story on Malden.

Ive known Cory since we were in elementry school and Im sorry to bust all youre notions of him being a good kid but he has never once been nice to anyone who couldnt do something for him or who isnt like him. He always liked to think he was a badass because he got away with picking on people, beating the crap out of them, and segrogating them. he joined a local thug gang and left so the fact that he got shot should come as no surprise to anyone, hes just another degenerate who died without being any use to society or even his own family. I feel no pity, remorse, or sympathy for his loss from this world. Everyone who is saying hes a good kid and didnt deserve this, Im sorry but youre all blind, hes done worse to others for less Im sure. he deserved this, not saying it should have happened, but he did have it coming. he was a bad person from the age of 6 on and it would be better for all of you if you looked at reality (even though it hurts more) and deal with the truth of the matter. cory's gone and if he had been a good person he wouldnt have died like this.

THATS NOT TRUE WHAT YOU SAID ABOUT CORY .. PEOPLE DIE ALL THE TIME WHETHER THEY DESERVE IT OR NOT .. I JUST SAW 3 PEOPLE DEAD ON MY STREET .. who knows why .. who knows if they had it coming to them .. but no one deserves to die by the hand of someone else and for you to say that is ignorant .. simply put ..romeo murray was a 17 year old football star who had many friends and nearly NO ENEMIES .. he got murdered over a stupid fight that he didnt start . good people die too how you die shows no reflection on how you lived in most cases . cory may have done bad things but im sure you are no saint either so from now on maybe you should show more respect for those who are no longer with us. for you to say that is almost like your trying to justify what they did to him when the fact is.. if they had any type of morals or confidence in them self .. they would not have shot him just because he was trying to fight . any man LIKE CORY or many of my other friends would gladly step the fuck up and fight before theyd shoot someone there are too many stupid ass people in malden and far too many cowards ..
