From reading this entire thread I find this very disturbing indeed. My opinion is that stan is in fact a child predator and should have his ip: address tracked. Where are the monitors when stuff like this is posted? They seem so quick to highlight my comments when they think they are incendiary.
They're all a bunch of dopes that's why.

Thank you, Everett mom! You bet all of us moms are thankful you took the time to post this. This is an absolute outrage! Thank God the 6th grader was smart enough to get the young child away from this idiot.
I can't believe how poor the police response was.I am glad you took the time to go to the police station and school (and topix) to make as many people aware that this is going on. I hear you, and believe me, I am going to tell this story to other moms in our area as well. This will help this creep hopefully get arrested and away from our children! Believe me, you did a great job alerting us to this creep, no telling how many children you saved. Thank you, if more people did this, the world would be a better place!

a mature 12 year old is able to walk home in a group with a younger sibling, Massachusetts has no age requirements on this, as long as child provided with information on what to do in case of an emergency, and obviously this child was as he and friends knew enough to cross street and call the police. The police should have contacted school in order to inform principal but as long as someone informed him and the parents of the other children involved then lets hope safety precautions are put in place. Thank you for informing the public ...keep posted if any other news on this

Why don't you watch your kids. I don't think a sixth grader should be watching a kindergartener. Maybe you should be taking classes at the English school with your kids.
and tell me why a sixth grader shouldnt walk a kindergaten child home six graders are about 11-12 yrs right perfectly fine age i think, and im sure if the mom didnt think her son was responsible enough she wouldnt let him.you must be a mom that dont work or have a life lol

If I "knew" there was a predator lurking around my child's school, I would never let him walk home alone no matter how old he is. That's just me. You do what you want.

ThankYou for posting this on Topix. My 3 childrwn go to the English schooland naturally, we never received ANY type of notification that some man was trying to lure a child!! This is beyond disturbing..I also find it VERY unnerving that there is a transitional house now located on Woodville Ave. These residential houses DO NOT have staffing to keep an eye on these patients. They are allowed to roam all over town without signing in or out of home. Not saying that they are incredibly dangerous but seriously putting a transitional house with mentally unstable ppl living there near a school is wrong on so many levels. Just another thing for us English parents to worry about..should have used he old EHS sight for this BS housing! KEEP OUR KIDS SAFE

BTW..The original poster of this thread should post a note on FB and tag many friends and ask it get re-posted to as many English parents as possible. If the City wants to sweep shit under a rug we have to do what we can to inform other parents

I wish parents would stop blaming the schools for everything and start taking responsibility themselves. If you think something is wrong, then put down the bon bons, get off the couch and go pick your kids up. Stop blaming the city, the schools, the police, and anyone else you can think of and do your job as a parent. We all know everett has changed, so we have to change with it. School is for learning from 8:00-2:15, not to take care of your kids after that!!!!!

I have to agree. Why is the school responsible for kids after they are let out? Stop complaining and start parenting.

Do you mean Woodville street? Where is this transitional house? I've lived here forever and have never heard anything about this? Do you have anymore information about this? I'm really concerned!

Yes Woodville St. I am not 100% sure of exact address but I am 100% sure that a transitional home is there. From what I was told, it is a private home so the residents of Everett did not need to know these individuals were being moved from Shute St to Woodville.
I think it is 2 family, the men live on one floor and woman on other. Sorry to bring more bad news!!

Can you gurantee these ppl aren't going to do something to hurt anyone? I don't think so! They have MORE than depression issues, anything can set a mentally ill person off. That is the last thing that is needed so close to a school. Do you have a child going to school at Maddy English? There is no supervision at these "group" homes, these ppl with issues are allowed to roam around all day and night! If there were supervision there in this home, I wouldn't worry
