among all the high rise and commercial buildings being planned for Revere Beach, do we really need to allow a rooming house also? In light of the fact that the proposed site is the area where recently a building was shut down partly due to drug problems , I don't think it is a very good idea to set up transient housing on the beach.

Riots and crime at the Lido/ old wonderland ballroom are not caused by Latinos,or any other ethnic group they are caused and created by patrons that have no respect for law and order or each other. I can't remember a time during the days I went to the ballroom that the City of Revere had to send out their whole police force to take care of a problem. The closing time and the number of patrons need to be changed., or the owners should hire enough security to handle their own problems or close it down. Shame on our citizens for even suggesting it is a racial issue. If anything it is more of a cultural issue.
