Well, post some suggestions. Who do you know that would like the job and can afford to raise the money and have the time to run? I'd like to here who you would suggest.

Well, residents need to be educated about what really goes on in this city. Money goes a long way, but if people get out to vote in an educagted manner, they really can make a difference.

And he must have some 'left over' campaign funds from previous runs ??

I bet a decent candidate will be able to raise enough money to run against him.

OKAY: Would like to think so, but we are in tough economic times and one cannot 'waste' dollars on a candidate up against such a foe ...

It doesn't cost anything to walk around, knock on doors, shake hands, and tell people your intentions.

I would think the business community would be very willing to donate to a different candidate. Theirs and our tax rates are outrageous. Has anyone noticed how much our water bills have increased since the start of the Water Enterprise Fund?

Rug Doctor is right, there is a lot of campaigning that can be done without cost.

I support Robert Van Campen if he decides to run for Mayor of Everett. He is knowledgeable and open-minded and has given the current administration good advice on a variety of matters.

I trust someone who is an outstanding resident in this city and longstanding on the council. His expertise is whatís necessary to make informed decisions and stop this division that is currently in the city. The current mayor has this city move divided than itís ever been. He'e been there long enough, Carlo is too complacent and has is not acting appropriately or making good decisions for what Everett needs going forward.

All Carlo does is spend, spend, spend! We need someone who is fiscal responsible. RVC is not my first choice but I will back him since my choice is not running. Things need to change. Us regular folks are finding it hard to live in Everett.

So, both are going to challenge DeMaria from what I hear. Doesn't make sense. More money needed, split same hate vote, and make enemies while doing it.
