Dealing With Dealers

All the time we see people here selling/trading/pawning for drugs. The young and old alike are involved in this condition of keeping the drug trade going in McCreary County. In any given community, if you ask, Some one has a family member, friend or neighbor involved with illegal drugs, either by being hooked on them or selling them. Why can't we be strong enough to actually fight when we see the need to fight? If you know of a family member that is and has been selling and taking drugs, you are not helping by turning your head away from it. It WON'T get any better. If you're afraid of the dealer/user, tell the authorities. Just by chance, they may not know, and they may be able to help you. Do all you can to help decrease this epidemic. If you don't stand up for your own life and future safety, who will? Remember, what you have to say may be just what they need to get them off our streets and out of our life, but most important, away from your children and grandchildren.

Evidently there have been multiiple arrests of drug dealers in McCreary County. The jail is stuffed at certain times with TCS criminals and most are repeat offenders. Then there are those still awaiting trial by jury for past arrests for dealing. Look how long it finally took to take down Mud Watson!
