Does anyone know anything about the candidates for Piedmont District Supervisor? I know very little about Mr. Biniek. Tom Junk has been looking out for the taxpayer for years. If anyone has any info please share. At this time I'm leaning heavy toward voting for Tom Junk.

I'm like you, I don't much about Mr. Biniek. They run a farm, camp, and day school, but I'm not sure about this "solstice" stuff. If you look at the links to Belle Meade's web site you might get an uneasy feeling like me.
As far as what He believes, who knows? He's been here 20+ years and I never heard one peep out of him on any issue. Never a letter to the paper or speaking at a public meeting. Also if he runs his own school is he going to support the county's school like he should as an supervisor? Anyway, thanks for asking the question. We need to know. |

Tom Junk is genuine. He has an incredible amount of experience in local government. He is committed to not raising taxes so people, especially young families, can afford to live in Rappahannock County.
