Well basketball will be starting soon, I'm sure. How will things be for the Boys and Girls?
I see sub-districts are up on NSAA website and FC will be with Auburn, Syracuse, Lincoln Christian, & HTRS.

I'm a outsider, no kids playing anymore. I think they could be really good. They return a lot(except the Pagnano kid) He will be a loss but they return a bunch of Seniors that got valuable playing time. Coach Hogue will have them playing great defense and scoring should be really balanced. Maybe the best for some time.
I look for the Tigers to win and win a lot.

Very nice thread so far, nothing hateful, you don't often see that on here. Hope this one stays that way, nice to read for a change.

I can't wait for the season. I thought the overachieved last year. I hope they don't underachieve this year.
Starters may be hard to pick this year. There could be like 8-10 players that could start. Scheitel-Huettner-Lotter-Harli ng-Dishong-Faller-Feek-Nebauer -Bartek-etc.
I hope the coaches can get these guys to know their roles. May not be enough basketballs to go around.

Fan...the Full Squad scrimmage is November 28th from 5:00 - 6:30. "Open" to Parents/Relatives (that's what the schedule that the players received says, anyway)

How was the first week of practice??
I heard from a lot players that Hogue lost his voice! Is this true? Ithink that the tigers will be very competiitve and could compete for the district.

These boys told me that they are like 23-3 at Home the last four years. That's awesome.

Made it to the scrimmage the other day, the team looked good but there are some holes that need to be filled by the end of the season if the team wants to make a run. These are some of the things I saw, Scheitel is going to be the heart of the team. He was the most vocal and the biggest scoring threat. Also he is the tallest player for the Tigers this year. They are going to need someone to step up and take on the role of the inforcer down low. Coach Hogue won't be able to let Trent bang around inside due to the risk of cheap fouls because with him out of the lineup, the Tigers don't have another go to guy. Huettner and Lotter both looked like they knew their 'roles' of ball handler and set shooter. The team has experience and should get better as the year goes on, looking forward to hearing how they do in Syracuse on friday. Should be a good measuring stick. Good luck to both the players and the coaches.

Pretty good start for the #10 Tigers...downed #4 Syracuse 44-39 tonight. Trent was good, Dylan made some clutch free throws at the end, and Trevor, Michael and #35 (can't think of his name...Feek?) did a pretty good job of neautralizing the Reed kid from Syracuse. He got his points, but did miss a lot of shots.

Going to be an exciting year, I think.

No School on tuesday. So, the game vs Hiawatha,Ks. will be played on a later date. I heard not until January.
So, next up for the Tigers will be the Home Opener vs Auburn on Friday the 11th.
Jv's are at 4:30pm(Boys at Middle school & Girls at High school) then at 6pm Girls varsity and Boys Varsity at 7:30pm.

Daily Horoscope for December 18

Libra

Throughout the rest of the month you'll enjoy the security and comfort that you gain from being in familiar places surrounded by familiar faces. You won't be happy about straying too far from home, and you'll rush back there as soon as possible. This is a great time to consider ways in which you can improve the appearance of your home or garden.
