It's "Tompkins" Hill Rd. You know, like where Chollege of the Rhedwoods is located?
Maybe you could try Google maps or something...

The fire alarm in Fortuna went off at 8 am and I saw several rescue vehicles (2 ambulances, many fire rescue trucks) responding as I headed north toward Eureka.

I'm actually a different poster than Wow, and I agree with his sentiment. It takes fifteen goddamn seconds to check for yourself, don't just eat a press release and spit it back up.
Fact-checking and spelling names right is hard.
Isn't that one of the VERY FIRST THINGS THEY TEACH YOU in reporting?
Oh... yeah, it is.
Weird.
When they release the name of the poor guy involved, you'll at least get that right, won't you? Fingers crossed.

The man who died today in this accident was a good guy, may he R.I.P. and our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends. He will be missed.

Why would I give prayers to a God which caused the gruesome accident in the first place?

Just wonder if you would expect people to show you, or your family, the same level of compassion or sensitivity you've displayed here, should a similar event occur amongst them?
godspeed

O my God!
O Thou forgiver of sins,
bestower of gifts,
dispeller of afflictions!

Verily, I beseech thee
to forgive the sins of such
as have abandoned the physical garment
and have ascended to the spiritual world.

O my Lord!
Purify them from trespasses,
dispel their sorrows,
and change their darkness into light.
Cause them to enter the garden of happiness,
cleanse them with the most pure water,
and grant them to behold Thy splendors
on the loftiest mount.

This is very sad, the second logger in a week to lose his life at work. I think the only thing sadder than that is to read these despicable negative comments and jokes about this man's death without knowing who he was, how he lived, or really anything about him. Sad state of affairs for humanity.

RIP.

I agree, but it's best not to acknowledge the greifers at all, it gets them off.

They also teach you the 5 W's and how. But the Sub Standard rarely uses those either,
