GREAT 140 million dollars down the drain Imagine if the folks in the USA did not support this LARGE military and governement we would all have lots more money for ourselves. And before someone writes it NO the war in Iraq has nothing to do with freedom...

How much can we sell NASA for?
I think we have spent about $100 billion so far and all we have gotten in exchange for our money is a new type of foam bedding material and Tang....
$140 million for the people of Los Angeles, that would damn near pay for a new Freeway!

A fighter plane has many complex electrical components and despite what everyone thinks cheaper isn't better, just as the high cost isn't the best. The F-22 is a very effective plane for its mission, but like all planes it can have a multitude of things that goes wrong and bring them down.

The former Air Force pilot was killed today, very sad day for both the Air Force and Lockheed Martin.

God bless this pilot and his family.

$140 million? For what?!%%@@##!! it! Condolences to the pilot's family and friends...not worth a pilot's life and playing Fighter Pilot would have been better in the Simulation Area. Thanks Edwards/Lockheed.

Yes, after his 21 years with the Air Force. As I stated former Air Force not current Air Force. Most of the newspapers are also stating the first F-22 crash was also at Edwards AFB, it was at Nellis AFB in 2004.
