Always good to see them catch the bad guys.
Is no place safe anymore? That is why I keep my doors and windows locked at night.

How do you know that he is the bad guy, you should wait until the investigation is finished before making assumptions!

I have known Cory for 12 years. Do not judge him. Let the courts take care of this.Cory and his Uncle were not estranged as is reported. Someone is telling the various news reporters a lot of untruth. The only side of the story being printed is coming from the Uncle, and every version is different. Cory should not be tagged a bad guy when the real truth has not come out. We are only hearing one side. Let the investigators do their jobs.

Good for you Vicki! Why have we only heard one side of the story? Whatever happened to innocent until proven guilty.

Cory planned to work at a church repair day the following Saturday. We spoke the Tuesday before concerning this day. While I'm not sure what occurred this suspect; husband, friend and father of two young children needs our prayers. Jeremy's family needs our love, prayer and support in this difficult time.

It is Vicki again. To all of Cory's friends here in Ravensdale/Maple Valley. Remember to keep Cory, his sweet little boys, and Lisa in your prayers.
The investigators will do thier job. Suspect does not mean guilty. All of you negative people out there, how sad to go through life with such hate in your thoughts.

I am from the Valley as well and grew up with Cory. This is so out of character and there has to be more to the story. Cory is the type of person who would give you the shirt off his back. Please pray for him that the truth is found out.

How about some sympathy to the young man who was brutally murdered. This is a horrific ending to a young man's life

I understand "innocent until proven guilty" but what about poor Jeremy that didn't get that chance all he got was the executioner.

I grew up down the road from Jeremy, he was in my kindergarten class. What was his relationship to Cory? I'm trying to understand what happened, there's just no logic in it. Jeremy was only 19. He was a good kid, smiling even though he had lost his mom in elementary school and his dad in high school. What happened was so tragic. My thoughts and prayers are with his family, especially his remaining siblings.

I have known Cory for almost 16 years. I know his friends and I known the kind of person he is. I GUARANTEE YOU there is more to this story. The uncle is sure trying awfully hard to keep Cory locked up and spinning a pretty elaborate story. If he was sooo scared of Cory that he went to bed with a gun then why did he let him in? If he took the gun from Cory after the shot then why did he run to his room to get a different gun? Cory is being set up and the truth will come out.

You could also listen to the 911 calls that were released. The uncle got out of the house after Corey shot Jeremy and then Corey tried to burn the house down to cover up the evidence and attempted to flee. THEN he tried to escape from the hospital as well. His bail was raised because his own family is afraid of him.

Pray for Jeremy's family, a 19 year old that had already been through so much, and now this.

Lets not jump to conclusions. Lets not believe what is all over the media, and all the hearsay. Lets pray for Jeremy and his family. And not form an opinion based upon someone's word. We all know a man is only as good as his word. Lets let the investigators provide all the facts to us and then form our opinion. Just my 2 cents
My truth

I have a lot of ideas and opinions as to what really happen in the house that night... although I haven't been told the exact truth as to what happen, I do know this for sure...
Jeremy's life was taken WAY too soon, it was taken in a malicious and repulsive way by a guy that I believe through his actions has shown that as of that moment he became evil, ruthless and had no respect for others. This man that some of you say you know obviously don’t see the malice in him by his actions… attempting to escape rather than taking responsibility for killing a young man who’s life ended too soon, burning down the house after the incident, running from the police upon their arrival, and not coo operating with the investigation or the detectives involved. Another fact that all you need to realize is that his bail was raised from 750,000 to 1.5 million, which in order for prosecution to have ruled for them, the evidence provided during that hearing was strong enough to sway the judge to agree with prosecution. Cory is without a doubt a murderer. For all of you that love him and care about him you should be able to see through that love that what he did was wrong and he deserves to pay the consequences that will help the grieving family and put to rest what happen to Jeremy Jay Karavias. And that his actions are what is taking him away from his wife, children, family, and friends, who I do feel sympathy for.
