He was sentenced finally (in July). I am a volunteer at People Helping Horses that has all the horses and has rehabilitated and refed them all back to health. Some are in training and some have foster homes and some have forever homes.

Renton Man Allegedly Fed Horses Garbage
A Renton man faces multiple charges of animal cruelty after several dead and sick horses were found on his property. 710 KIRO's Tim Haeck reports.

Dead and sick horses found on property in Renton have lead to multiple charges of animal cruelty.

A veterinarian says the horses found on Michael Perry's acreage were emaciated, infected with lice and living in filthy conditions.

An investigation found Perry was feeding the animals garbage.

More than a dozen horses were removed from Perry's five-acre property. One of the horses died of a ruptured gut due to poor nutrition and care.

The 63-year old man is charged with three felony counts of animal cruelty.

Mike Perry was sentenced? So he was convicted? What was he actually convicted of? Or do you mean he was charged? Which means he remains innocent of those charges until proven guilty?

He has horses again. I think it's disgraceful that the County has allowed him own animals.

It is curious that they would seize horses from him and then allow him to acquire more. Are you sure the horses are his? Maybe we should do something to try to get the horses to a safer place?
