The Russian government did not reveal all information about the child.

Am sure the adoptive parent attempted to help the child, but could not handle the situation.

Heartless to send the child back by himself on this flight.

Full disclosure is a must. The child was probably abused.

We have enough children in the USA who are begging for a family. Yet citizens go to foreign countries to adopt? WHY?!?!

Is it the restrictions, the cost to adopt an American child? If so, this needs to be CHANGED!!!
Help these children be adopted.

Celebrities have started the foreign adoption craze. None of them have adopted an American child, especially an older one.

Fix the problem in the USA, get families who want children in their lives, with those who need to be adopted.

No american child should have to live in state program facility with 'staff' that come and go. There is little consistency in these programs. Give them a permanent home, with a permanent family.

Shame on the American government officials who suffocate the adoption process and keep American children in institutions rather than in permanent homes.

That's what happens when you deal with government, a system that actually IMPEDES American children from being adopted.

Someone needs to stop this madness.

How can a 26 years old unmarried woman be considered fit for adoption?

a) she is still of child-bearing age.

b) she cannot provide normal family life.

They probably had unaccompanied minor service with the airlines; otherwise the airlines would not have let the child board without a parent or other adult. This is a service the airline provides for a charge.

It is less to adopt an American child than any child anywhere in the world. the adverage cost overseas is 50k. that is the reason that there is so much fraud and kidnapping in countries where Americans come to adopt.
American children are sought after for adoption by many countries because the mother have access to the best health care and the kids are healthier. Most of the kids waiting to be adopted are black or Hispanic and generally older. I have talked to many people that did not care that they had a child that did not look like them as long as it was not black or Hispanic. I know one girl who went to look for her birth parents and the adoptive parents were scared that the girl, adopted at birth and over 18 at the time, would find out that her dad was black. If you saw her, there was little doubt that he was. But what a shame to love some one their whole life and have their newly discovered race become a game changer.
People have got to get over the racism and just adopt at home.
BTW that Mother should go to jail in America for child abandonment like she would if we were talking about an American kid. What a rotten thing to do to a 7 year old kid. It was not his fault he had issues. He must have been scared to death.
It has long been know that Russia and Romania has sent kids out with known severe psych or medical issues and lied to the adoptive parents about it. Too many stories out there online for her not to have known about it.

This law would apply only to you and your own children should they decide to travel abroad.

There are no US brats to adopt, because most of productive men are too old to be speramic and the younger ones are poofters.
