I've been receiving supportive treatment from Dr. Clark since 2004. Before that, due to multiple car accidents and failed spinal surgeries, I have been treated by numerous chiropractors. I feel I have a good understanding about what is a good or soso chiropractor.

Dr. Clark has the finese for accurate, effective adjustments. He also has spent the investment for pre adjustment tools to help loosen your muscles so you can achieve a deeper, better adjustment. The office also offers massage therapy and you are allowed to use unlimitedly the various self massaging and traction beds before and after your adjustments.

One of the things I really appreciate about Dr. Clark is you don't have to have an appointment to get adjusted, even if you are a new patient. You can just drop in. And, the clinic has generous hours. If you are having a massage you will need to make an appointment. You can have a 30 or 60 minute massage.

Of course, the clinic takes insurance, including Medicare. Dr. Clark is helpful with filling out forms. As normal in the medical community, a report will probably be charged for.

Chiropractic care and relief from pain will take more than one treatment for properly retraining your spine's vertabrae and supporting muscles and soft tissue to return and hold their original, non injured posture. And, ripped and torn muscles don't repair overnight. Massage therapy before adjustments will facilitate the healing process.

So, if the doctor is recommending that you have a series of treatments, the doctor isn't trying to gouge you. A chiropractor attends the same or more medical school than an MD. Chiropractors don't spend all the time learning about treating with drugs that MD's do. That time for them is spent learning about pathology, diagnosing and treatment. Chiropractic care allows the body to heal itself via a healthy nervous system, along with realigning the spinal column to eliminate painful conditions and free movement. After all, it obvious that once your spinal health goes, the rest of your health isn't far behind.

After all, you didn't acquire your pain from one incident - why would it revert and repair in one treatment. If you have a lot of scar tissue surrounding your spine, then that scar tissue has to be broken down and healed so it can return to doing it's job of holding your vetrabrae in the proper alignment. And, the adjustments are steps to returning your spine to it's natural position working in concert with your spinal muscles so you can move in the six directions your spine moves.

Spend some time learning about your spine and chiropractic medicine
