The second amendment ain't got nothing to do with hunting. It's about the right of the people to have guns in case the government gets out of line. It's our remedy against tyranny. And that means our guns should be equal to what the government has. So we should be able to get what we want, and as many that we want; without the government knowing who's got what. What's bo-tarded about the new law is that they drew NO line of distinction between "centerfire" (i.e. most, powerful major calibers) and .22 "pipsqueak rimfire" (i.e.'regular'.22) and now I must register my Remington Apache 77 which takes 10-shot clips - a gun that's fun to shoot water-filled coffee cans with, but one that I would NOT choose for premeditated mayhem.

Conversely, I also have a 'combat modified' pump-action Mossberg shotgun (no shoulder stock and front pistol grip) which is FAR deadlier but exempt because it's NOT a semi-auto that takes more than seven shots!
