Now if we could only get the carmakers to listen up and to get out of bed with the traditional oil companies and the politicians (who are heavily bribed by both). If our cars ran on ethanol, we could really make the terrorists feel the pain.

Government will never do that with the oil companies. And everyone will have to buy flex fuel vehicles to be able to run E-85, and the fuel stations right now that offer E-85 are at least 80 cents more a gallon, hopefully when more is produced that will come down. But I don't know how government will allow E-85 to come down in price lower than gasoline.

You must have some inside info that govt is in control of the fuel price. where is your source for that info. And don't tell me that you heard it on the overnight radio.
Do they allow you out of the home to vote?

E85 is not what it is cut out to be. It's just a big waste. If this country is really serious about fuel then biodiesel fuel is the way to go. With e85 if your getting 20 mpg with regular fuel now. You will be looking at 15 mpg with e85. Also e85 will evaporate while just being in your tank and not even driving your car. Like I said it's just a waste of money. I'll stay with the regular gas and send ethanol a hike. About the only thing you will retain from e85 is an increase in horse power.

The price of E85 is the same or lower in Greensburg at the Farm Bureau CO-OP.

What Mike said. I don't know how people can be so stupid about this.

Here's a chart Popular Mechanics did on the relative cost of fuels, showing E85 to be a big SCAM:
