Liquor referendums are all about money

Just when it appeared that Parisians would be able to buy beer or wine at local stores, and Reno businesses could sell the harder stuff, the winds of resistance have started sweeping over the communities.

The owners of Sun Valley and Toco do not want Paris or Reno to go wet because it would kill there sales and it would cost them mega bucks to have to buy property and build new buildings when what they have is paid for so there going to promote.... vote no. Its called reverse

There is alot of [old money]there don't want to expand or grow or create jobs...just want the retired to live there or something.like that'keep the old and kick out the new...no way to grow....

I have been away from home for quite a while, but it seems to me that being to buy beer and wine locally stops those 2-3 hour beer runs our fathers so enjoyed.

all of these holy roly hypocrits in paris that had vote no signs in their yards some of which are our elected officials, judges, ect.. drink more than anybody... the hard stuff...you know they voted yes...and if they didnt it because they drive across the river or to commerce
