It was good to see this story as I actually know both of them! I didn't realize they were doing so much work around our town. I need to go do some myself.
Thanks for the article. I was looking for something to do and now I know what it is. I will also see about getting one of those tools too. I could use one.

Here in Silver Springs we also have a group of people that want to see our town cleaned up. The dead bushes/weeds/trees can be hauled off at no charge by the Central Lyon county fire district. We have a recycling company that comes out once a month to collect cans, etc. That helps too! We are also providing resource information through the Chamber of Commerce ( silverspringsnevada.org )to help residents help themselves. The banks are being notified they must keep their properties within the code and some progress has been made to remove uninhabitable homes. We have a project in process to get our unusable junk tires removed also. Our motto is Silver Springs Take Pride. So take notice - our community has begun its cleanup!
