Pedro Martinez has big expectations. "I'm pushing for an 80 percent graduation rate," said Martinez, who starts his second year at the superintendent of the district of 62,426 projected students who start school today.

I some how get the feeling that we always get the bottom of the barrel canidates for superintendent.We will see how he does this year.
