He had a split personality, his right side thought he was John Wolkes Booth, who thought the left side was Abraham Lincoln.

For less than $50, he could have gotten a decent holster and avoided losing thousands of dollars and possible jail time. I never recommend plain pocket carry, there are pocket holsters that do a very good job securing the firearm. You don't want the thing just sliding out willy nilly, or you may shoot off your willy.

If the "theater" is the buttocks, I might like to visit the concession stand, if she is attractive.

Exactly correct, pocket carry is only good with the correct sized firearm AND the correct holster for it. Any non-holster carry including 'Mexican carry' is dangerous and very foolish, and creates many incidents like this. Idiots like this person makes it more difficult for the many thousands of good-citizens who carry safely day in and day-out with exceedingly few negative incidents.

Responsible concealed carriers are among us, but invisible. And that's the way it should be. Carrying a concealed weapon responsibly is akin to being smart and maintaining your smoke detectors and insurance; you don't think much-about it, but are glad you have it if you need it.

What type of gun did he have? All the newer ones have firing pin block so they don't go off when dropped. I think they started that in the 1960's.

Neither does having a traitorous scumbag like Eric Holder in charge of the "Justice" Department or an incompetent idiot like Janet Napolitano in charge of "Homeland Security". Obummer really knows how to pick 'em...

This is a rather rare occurance and would be rarer still with just a little more training and knowledge. It is avaiable, but you can't force people to learn.

well what scares me is he had to have training to get that permit... it's more to the point saying "sometimes you just can't fix stupid"...

somewhere the system in place failed... and this is NOT as rare as you say... In 2007, there were roughly 15,698 emergency room visits for non-fatal firearm accidents... with another 613 fatal firearm accidents in the United States... maybe the fault is in the training??(or lack thereof)

How many of the "accidents" were truly accidents. I would be willing to bet that the statistics were skewed to impart a bias against legal gun owners, by not separating out the actual reason for the injury.
