Greer, Reidville battle affects future electric service

Laurens Electric Cooperative worries that if Greer annexes property in the 'Golden Box' below I-85 between State 14 and State 101, future electric service could go to Greer.

During the ice storm where everyone that had Duke Power and was with out power for (DAYS) I was not. We have Laurens Electric and our power flickered a couple of times and then went out for ten minutes and then came back on and stayed on. I live in Sugar Tit and DO NOT want to be supplied by Duke Power.
