Tunes on Trade and Greer Idol return for another music-filled season

Tunes on Trade 2009 Since you won't be able to watch Simon, Randy, or Paula until next season, join us in downtown Greer to hear live music and support your own Greer Idol competition! Every Friday, starting June 19 - July 24, live bands will be playing from 7:00pm until 10:00pm on Trade Street near the old train depot.

Have the judges in the 2009 Greer Idol competition completely lost their minds? Tamara Haynes was and IS the best singer and yet the judges consistently "sang" the praises of other contestants over her?????? This "girl" has real God-given talent!!!!!!!!!

I am not at all trying to be rude...but the judges have been much more lenient on all of the contestants this year! I think its awesome and know that it takes a HUGE amount of courage to get up and sing in front of a big crowd..but the talent seems to have majorly decreased this year! with the exception of maybe two people..the judges need to be more honest with people so they will prepare better for the next week! if on a weekly basis the judges are praising the contestants for something that they honestly didn't do a good job on..they can tell them that in a nice way! I know this is all for fun and games but after all it is a "singing" competition and $1,500 is on the line to be rightfully earned!
