Doesn't Babylon, LI, still have a "666" tel exchange?

Someone should tell the residents of this town that having a 666 telephone exchange has no bearing on reality. It's just a number, nothing else.

Yes it does, but give me a break! The mark of the beast will be something far worse than simply three numbers....Focus on what matters and stop making symbolic changes....

516-666...Bay Shore NY...anyway also the pre Christian number of Wisdom or Sophia (Knowledge), as was the apple her fruit and the snake her animal. Nothing evil until the Paulist misogynists had to destroy the feminine in order to spread their version of the message of Jesus the Christ

This deals with superstition the very thing religion teaches us that is against faith in God. Have faith and trust in God, and do your best and don't worry about anything.

Hello, it's not superstitions, it's in the Bible plain and clear. Revelation 13:18. I just think that with all the numbers why do you need to use that one.

Listen people. The number 666 is in the bible as the mark of the beast. It is the mark and number used by Satan.
Maybe it has power in a phone number and maybe it doesn't. But why take a chance when there are so many other numbers you can use? You don't want to give the devil any inroad into your life if you can help it.
Also, that number bothers people. If it was in my phone number I would be very uncomfortable, and I would ask to change it. Even if you are not personally uncomfortable, you should consider that many other people are. If you are doing business, it could hurt your business to have a phone number that bothers people and turns them off to doing business with you.
It is a very smart idea all the way around not to take any chances, and get that number changed.
