The suicide happend in the Methodist Church, in the pastors study. Joseph's wife was the secretary to the minister of the church Joseph's wife no longer works at the Methodist Church in Reeders The pastor was removed from the church and is not longer affiliated with the Methodist Church The pastors wife died in July in an auto accident the pastor was driving. His first wife died as a result of an accident in 1999. The night Joseph did this he reached out to many people for help, but was left defeated. Google "When Tragedy strikes: Life isn't fair and read the article written by the pastor, keeping in mind that this is October 11th and Joseph was defeated on October 28th. No I do not believe we will ever know the whole story.

Seems like someone on this forum has an inside track to what might be of some interest to family members involved here.

I would like to know what REALLY was said to Joe that led Joe to feel TOTALLY POWERLESS, that his life was over, and there was no hope.

Rose, Frenchville & Pennsylvania AOL , I suspect that you are sisters or relatives of Joseph & I extend my deepest sympathy to your family . I have a brother-in-law who is from Warren Pa. & knows some of your family members . I also have a very close connection to the ministers deceased wife whom we all miss so very dearly. I am sure that you are aware of the ongoing investigation of that fatal accident, which was so very tragic & devastating to her family. My wife and her sisters and brothers ( 9 of them ) have not been able to sleep or be at peace since the investigation was started shortly after Joseph's tragedy happened. Believe me when I say that we are all desperate for the whole truth to be told about these two tragic stories and if both of them did not have to happen. Believe me when I say this family was clueless to the circumstances surrounding these events. We were unaware of the connection between the two incidents. [email protected]

Thank you for your kind thoughts. We are truly saddened by your loss as well. Joe also comes from a large family and we are also grief strickened and finding it difficult to stop thinking about what has happened. So many lives are affected for ever. If we just could turn back the clock and have a different outcome. It is very tragic and hope we all will have some answers in the near future and hopefully some peace as well. Our hearts go out to your family.

Thank you so much for your kind thoughts Rose , and our hearts also go out to your family and Joe's children; it must be devastating for them. I posted my E-Mail address on my last post if you would want to discuss this matter anyfuther. Our family is clueless to what had transpired prior to Thanksgiving of 2008 when he told us that he had left the church and the ministery and that his faith had been shaken. We did not know about Joe till right before X-Mas & that was in the form of a phone call from him after he was interviewed and was told that our whole family would be summoned for an interview.

Rose please contact me. I am trying to find out if we are related. Your late brother Joseph resembles my brother Samuel . My genealogy lists many Joseph's. Ancestors came into Penn. I lived in Buffalo area most of my life.
