Oh boy, leave it to alcohol to play a part in this event. When you go to a campground, you go there to appreciate nature and God's world. Who would suspect there's a drunk right next to you? I'm going to make sure that when we go camping we're surrounded by trees with no possibility of any vehicle getting near our tent. My sincere sympathies to the young mother and father of the baby boy.

So where's the mug shot of this worthless piece of excrement? This isn't her first arrest- it shouldn't be hard to find a picture.

This is from the KGLR website..........

<snip>
In the complaint Nicolle Prechel is listed with a Willmar address.
Prechel was camping in the Beaver Falls Park area with Whyatts parents-Jacob Sander and Sheena Hinshaw of Redwood Falls and others. Prechel and her 7 year old daughter were sleeping in a van next the tent when the 7 year old had to use the bathroom and she drover her to that facility. When they returned to the campsite, Prechel backed over the tent. Hinshaw and the baby, together in the tent, were dragged over 14 feet until the van struck a pole. Sander observed the baby roll out from under the van. Hinshaw was trapped by the tent and van. Sander set the baby to the side, entered the van and drove it from on top of Hinshaw.
Sander and Hinshaw then took the baby and entered their own vehicle and drove to the Redwood Area Hospital.
Baby Whyatt James Sander, was pronounced deceased by the medical staff shortly after arrival to the Redwood Area Hospital.
Hinshaw was injured but no fractures were identified.
Prechel drove herself to the hospital but was pulled over due to a broken taillight. Prechel told the officer that she was backing onto a campsite but was distracted by her daughter and her foot hit the gas instead of the brake. She concluded by telling the officer that oh my God, I killed my cousin. Prechell admitted to drinking a liter bottle of Southern Comfort the night before but denied drinking anything that morning.

Are you kidding? Have you ever been camping? I would say the majority are roaring drunks.

She drove her daughter to the bathroom? Get the ^%$* out of your van and WALK with her to the bathroom. It's not that far of a walk. Putting the blame on her daughter - she had to go to the bathroom, she distracted me. Just 'fess up - I was lazy, stupid and drunk.

And a four month old is still an infant, not a toddler.

I am the mother of Whyatt James Sander and I think it was a wonderful night. Our son had slept through the night in the pack and play. He might have been to young to go camping in many eyes but in ours it was just fine and he loved the outdoors. He stared at the fire all night long in my arms untill he fell asleep at 10pm. My little baby boy is my angel and I will never forget him. Thank you all for your sypathey and all the love everyone has showed us. All of you are helping us get through this hard tough time.

I would like to send my condolences to the parents of the child who was killed. I can't imagine what you must be going through, but may God bless you in this tragic time. I also want to say that i know Nicolle Prechel and I wish that God would bless her too. It is easy to judge someone from afar, but I know she didn't mean to kill that child. I have always known her to be a bit misguided, but very good at heart.She was my friend, and i love her. She will have to live with her consequences for the rest of her life, and that is a punishment in and of itself.

Sheena, never ever feel guilty about taking your little one camping. Camping is the most beautiful experience you can give a child - no matter what age. It's God's country. Perhaps your experience will save some lives in the future. I know I will make sure we're protected against something like that happening to us. Perhaps the park will take some further actions to assure the safety of campers as well. God bless your little one and you and your hubby.

Daily Horoscope for December 28

Pisces

This is another good day to be tactful, and if anything you'll be even more successful than you were yesterday. This is not to be sneezed at, so seize the opportunity to talk to people who can sometimes be very touchy or who need to be handled with kid gloves. If you meet someone who's older or more influential than you, you'll be a big hit with them.
