TO DARWIN OF SUNNYVALE:

Please..... its a tragedy, have respect for the young life lost. Your insensitive comment obviously shows a lack of respect for life. instead of a "witty, editorial-style" quip, couldn't you just say nothing at all?

I am blown away by the thoughtless comments here. Teenagers are in their own little world where nothing bad ever happens to them. This boy was someone's child, grandchild, and brother. Have a heart! This is a tragedy NOT natural selection. I'm sure you people that are so judgemental did nothing stupid when you were kids. This is a loss. Please treat it as so and have some respect!!!

Manuel, Ralph, Darwin - if it was natural selection none of you would be here. May whatever God you believe in forgive you. What if this was your child, your grandson, nephew, would you be so cold in your comments. RALPH - Because you deal with loud music coming from headphones when you ride the bus this child should die and if as you say "in the public we see all the idiots in society, pardon my cynicism" if every idiot in society deserved to die because they are idiots well again bye to the three of you and hell no I won't pardon your cynicism, there is no excuse for your comments.
Darwin and Manuel - you are just cold heartless so called humans and both of you should be ashamed of yourselves but that would involve caring and thought on your part so that won't happen. OMG - stop the world, some teenager didn't think and paid the ultimate price for it - so he deserved to die - I hope you three morons feel like big men now that you disrespected this poor child and his family, what a bunch of friggin idiots. If you all believe in the natural selection process for idiots you may want to be careful.

To his family and friends I am so sorry for your loss and please ignore the callous remarks of a handful of hateful people.

To those de-humanized people who had nothing better to say, I wish u no bad but your words "natural selection" is inconsiderate! What is this was you kid? brother? or any loved one even yourself, maybe natural selection will select you next? Do u like it? I don;t think so! THANK YOU!!

I hope u read my comment and come to humanized senses, if it's in your animal capacity!!! As those of us who are hurt don't need insensitive beasts like you to have an opinion. Your natural selection suggestion may come back for you. That is why this world is like this today because of things like u (not even people) but things like you compose it.

Everyone is entitled to their opinions, unfortunately, some of you have HARSH ONES. Just remember, "What goes around, comes around." Needless to say, I wish no bad upon anyone cause the only one that pays is your loved ones, the innocent, not those that deserve it. To the family, as a mother of his friend, I'm sorry on your loss. A candle is lit in his memory. Our prayers go out to you.

There was some kid in my hometown, he got hit by a train while trying to cross the railroad tracks, his body flew like 60 feet. If someone was in their own little world, caring more about what song was playing in their CD player, than to be focused on what might be in front of them, hey, you cant argue that they were going to be on this earth any longer. Theres people with common sense, and those that lack it. All Im saying is thats natural selection at work. Do you ever look both ways when crossing the road? Exactly. These people obviously never picked that up in elementary school.
Hell, if I died a stupid death, I'd want people to make fun of me.
Something tells me that people make fun of you now. If you died in a stupid death you would want people to make fun of you - OK that's easy to say. What if it was someone you loved or cared about, a young family member who was being young and like most young people think bad things can't happen to them would you want people making fun of them? Would you want your mother, father to hear people making fun or making rude comments?

I work with students all day, the fact that he had his headphones on, doesnot warrant such attacks. He lost his life. Now he is attacked! What is sad, is your comments and concerns. What scares me is how were you raised to make was rude and mean comments.
Ralph wrote:
Tragedy? I vote natural selection. Listening to his earphones at maximum? I hear that crap on the bus every day some idiot inconsiderately blasting his headphones. Locked in his own world, no wonder this happened. Like to think others will learn from this but I doubt it. Let public transportation operators cull the herd, this world would be a better [read: smarter] place![in the public we see all the idiots in society, pardon my cynicism]

Show this site to your Mom, Dad, family and friends, if you have any. Do you think they would want to hear these comments about their son.Maybe you need to think before you speak. Put yourself in the place of Anthony and his family. Do you think your family would enjoy your comments. WRONG.

Who are you to make such mean & rude comments. There are a few of you who feel this attitude is okay. Please stop and think about the friends and families involved. They need prayers; not comments from you and the few other who feel this accident was deserved. If loud radios bother you; get ear plugs. Please think about your comments, and follow your family would feel if you died. Attacks are not needed.

Do you have children?(Probably not)
How would you feel if people wrote these comments about your son or daughter?(you don't care if you are made fun of but what about your family)
Think about that!
