I have called the California State Contractors Board several times to report unlicensed contractors and they refer me to SWIFT and they wont do anything. The last two times I spoke to them they basically wanted me to lead the crooks to them. What do these inspectors get paid for. Im a contractor myself and I would like to see a stop to it. Just last week I gave them the name, address and phone number of a door and window company that is offering labor with no license. The cslb response was: get us so more imformation like estimates, flyers, tee shirts etc., showing that they provide labor. Why dosen't the cslb call and ask them. Isnt that what they get paid for. Its sickening ,,these crooks are taking money right out of my pocket. Why do I pay $300 every two years for?

Mr. Watson, try changing your name to Julio Rodriguez Sanchez and avoid paying any necessary legal contractor fees.
