I don't see anything innovative here. The idea of "private browsing" as been around from some time now. It has been apart of Safari since v. 2.0 on April 29, 2005. It is apart of Shiira browser, among others.

Hey, when I go to download the IE 8, it can't find it on the microsoft website.

What a fantastical start to a sub par browser!

Opera browser has been my choice for years. It is interesting that Firefox and IE are working towards the features that Opera has had for years.

As for market share, no business lives or dies by market share. A business only survives by good management through providing quality goods and services to its customers.

Btw, Opera browser has been available for cell phones and pda's for years.

I have both IE and Firefox. My use of them is fairly rudimentary, so far. But from this article I wouldn't be confident that IE8 would replace Firefox for one of its most important values to me: making it possible for me to save certain on-screen elements, and articles from certain sources, which I used to be able to save via IE but for some unknown reason, can't now.

Control is getting to be a problem with both companies.

Seems IE8 won't display Yahoo mail unless you switch to compatibility view. Seems to have issues with rendering photos in blogs - I have to move the mouse over where the picture is supposed to be before the picture will show. The color tabs are nice.
