These companies have banned "Christmas" from their retail ads, in-store promotions or television commercials.

I am not buying anything. If you can't tell the story of Jesu, they you can't tell the story about giving presents. Also , this way I save money. I hope the retailers get the same treatment as the auto industry. Only they don't get a bailout at all.

Even if Christians are 60% of the community, what about that other 40%? Belle Square is NOT being non-christian, they are being good to ALL. The christmas spirit has not been ruined, EVERY night they have a free show of drummers, singers and music with fake snow and sparking lights on Bellevue Way called "Snowflake Lane". It's very beautiful.
They are just choosing to be open to ALL faiths, which is what this country is all about! The freedom of religion! By boycotting Bellevue Square for celebrating every American you are being unconstitutional!
And need I remind you that originally Christmas was actually the holiday WINTER SOLSTICE? Christ has been accurately proven to have been born in the SPRING! They just chose the pagan holiday of winter solstice to help people convert to Christianity easier!!
There is the information about the shepherds keeping their flocks out in the fields on the night on which Christ was born.
“Now there were in the same country shepherds living out in the fields, keeping watch over their flock by night”(Luke 2:8).
Even today in that region it is a common practice by shepherds to leave their flocks out in the warm summer/spring nights between April to October to feed in the green fields. After the month of October they will not leave their sheeps out in the night, and will lock them inside stables since the winter will be very cold and/or rainy. This itself proves that Jesus was born somewhere between April and October, and NOT in December.
No Shepherds will be out in the cold freezing nights of December!
Also it is said that Mary and Josef returned to Bethlehem because of a census ordered by Augustus. Now no king orders for a census to be carried out in peak winter!
In spite of all these evidences against December being the month of Jesus’ birth, the church still went ahead with it.
The Roman Catholic writer Mario Righetti admits,“to facilitate the acceptance of the faith by the pagan masses, the Church of Rome found it convenient to institute the 25th of December as the feast of the birth of Christ to divert them from the pagan feast, celebrated on the same day in honor of the ‘Invincible Sun’ Mithras, the conqueror of darkness”(Manual of Liturgical History, 1955, Vol. 2, p. 67).
The Oxford Dictionary of the Christian Church says,“Though speculation as to the time of year of Christ’s birth dates from the early 3rd century, Clement of Alexandria suggesting the 20th of May, the celebration of the anniversary does not appear to have been general till the later 4th century.
With all THAT being said, isn't it actually more NON CHRISTIAN to celebrate the birthday of Christ on a historically PAGAN holiday MONTHS different than his actual birthdate?!
So don't be all prejudiced saying that Bellevue Square is against Christians, by saying this you're being unbelievably selfish thinking it's about you and your faith, when really it's about accepting and celebrating EVERYONE'S faiths and not just one be it Christmas, Winter Solstice, Hannukah, Kwanzaa, or Festivus!

By erasing Christ from Christmas, people are going along with the Illuminati, ushering in the New World Order, and paving the way for the Anti-Christ.

I refuse to obey.

Merry Christmas.

I just came home from my local Michael's Arts and Crafts store, only to be told that they had no nativity/Christian items of any sort. None.
I found this forum quite by 'accident', but am glad that I did. Knowing the true background of the celebration of Christ's birth and the true background of the Winter Solstice, as well as the decorating of trees...etc., takes some work. Not many seem to have done this work. I am surprised.
Celebrating Christ's birth, in and of itself, is not pagan, nor is it forbidden. However, as of late the celebration is no longer simply celebrating His birth, but almost a Winter Solstice of sorts. I personally have decided to change my celebration of His birth more than ever, to be noticeable distinct from those around me celebrating Santa Clause and such.
Please take a look at my site. It is entitled,'Is Christmas Pagan?'. A lot of information there.:

The Christian spies are back at work this year. Putting out a list of who is naughty and who is nice. Those stores that refuse to honor our savior on his birthday will not get our business. No Merry Christmas, no nativity scene means no cash for retail stores on the antichrist list.

You people are a bunch of foaming at the mouth idiots. Buying plastic crap presents and claiming that is about worshiping Jesus is as Christian as claiming you're a Christian and talking like a militant idiot on this site. If you think that what being a Christian is all about then PLEASE DO stay away from any public place and keep your hypocritical ideas at home with all your gun and porno magazines and your drugged out wives and kids that hate you. Or go start a commune in Texas. Just go away. You're the people that Jesus warned us about.
