There were other projects passed on by the owners of this property. They were housing projects that would not realize the owner "enough" financial gain. When will the city stop catering to developers and think about the citizens that already live here. There must be a better fit for this property in the middle of all these housing communities. Does everyone want stores in the middle of their neighborhood? Will accountability ever see the light of day? We all have rules and obligations to society and ourselves. We cannot always do just what we want even if it is for financial gain. The good of our community should be considered as well.
