These stupid teens, they have no respect for authority and feel like they have the right and say so to do what they want, especially if they are a privileged athlete. If these allegations are true, I hope Sheve loses his scholarship.

I hope they take this kid's scholarship away and teach him a valuable lesson. Because if it was the other way around what would have happen to the Coach."FIRED" "ARRESTED" "DOOMED" More power to the coach for stepping up and letting him go and not getting back at him. Yes we all deserve a second chance in life so Walk on some where and fight your way back. Cause this needs to happen for those players that think they are bigger than the game cause I got a full ride and showing those parents that nothing is given in life it is earned.

First of all, I would like to say that I know this young man and he is nothing what these other people who made stupid comments about him are. Secondly, they should not judge someone by what they read. Tyler is very passionate about playing baseball and wants to make a career of it. We have seen him play and he is simply amazing. What everyone should know is that there are 2 sides to every story so don't say "oh he's a pot head" or "you should take his scholarship away". The people who did write all of that mean stuff about his is because they are the ones who are the pot heads in life and/or did their scholarships taken away for doing something stupid like smoking pot or just being idiots.

BS Tyler got caught smoking pot during football season. They did nothing about it they just looked the other way. under the rug. Also Tyler was the main cause of a fight after the Miller game he is a spoiled punk.

He and the coach had a "dispute?" He and the coach had an "argument?"

That kind of thinking, that kind of rhetoric, is a big part of the problem. High school kids.....and they are kids....don't have disputes with coaches or teachers or instructors. They either do what they are told or they forfeit their right to be in the class room and on the playing field.

A high school kid who assaults a coach or an instructor should be kicked out of school permenantly. And he should kiss that scholorship goodby.

For that matter, I had a coach I wanted to slap when I was in high school. Instead I sucked it up, kept my mouth shut around him, and did the best I could for myself and the team. Shreve should have done that too....

REV needs a baseball coach that can command respect from his players. At the least, they need a coach that can hold his own with a kid.

Yeah Bob, let's blame the Coach. Shreve showed up late and high to practice and the Coach, who has a zero tolerance kicked him off the team. Shreve then waits until after practice, lays in wait for the coach and pummels him. Hopefully Rev has expelled him. But expulsion and loosing his scholarship is the least of his worries. He's 18, he's an adult. This ain't no juvie court. Hope Mommy & Daddy can afford a good attorney!!!!

Well one school that is happy is Colorado State University. Shreve was committed there until QB Pete Thomas changed his mind about ASU and came to Colorado State. Shreve then jumped ship to Utah. Very sad situation with no winners here.

Bob, Shreve is 6-4, 220 lbs. The coach isnt nearly that big or strong. Remember Shreve is also a football player and is used to being very physical. Not many adult men who have full time jobs, kids and responsibility can say that. He wasnt ready for a fight and now he has two black eyes.

Veronica you and people like you are to blame. You idolize a kid who is a good athlete and you make excuses for him when he screws up. Maybe if somebody had stood up to him when he was acting like a baby on the football field nothing like this would have happened. Bruich allowed him to get away with everything as long as the team won. It used to be that athletics came second to being a good student and citizen. Now we have a coach who was beaten by a player. How humiliating for him and his family. There is talk that Bruich and the Athletic director have talked the coach out of pressing charges. Very interesting.More excuses for a pampered athlete who needs to grow up.

Luckily it is not up to Bruich, the AD or the Coach. It is up to the DA's office. Even if the Coach doesn't want to press charges. Hmmm maybe charges of obstruction or witness tampering need to be filed against Bruich and the AD. Lets see how Ramos handles this.

This is ridiculous! The football coach should not be protecting Shreve. The coach should stand behind his fellow coach. This is unheard of on many levels and I hope Bruich hears what is out there. I hope the school stands for what is right!!!!!!
